1. I booked a massage for the first time, what do I need to do to prepare?

Answer: Really not a lot at all. The most important thing is to ensure that your massage time will not be cut short, so arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time, as other clients are scheduled after you.  Think of the parts of your body that you've had issues with recently that maybe massage can help.  Maybe your body has been feeling fine and it's your mind or energy that needs attention.  Be sure to let Matthew know what's going on with you and how you feel physically & mentally so that he can prepare the best treatment for you.

2. Do I have to provide anything?

Answer: NO! Matthew has all you need to have a complete spa experience. All you need to bring is your ID, any recent or current medical history documents that may assist with treatment & a valid form of payment for your service; Cash, debit card, credit card, check or Paypal. Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express are all accepted.

3. How do I book an appointment?

Answer: Easy! Find the massage you want on the SERVICES & PRICING page.  Then call or book online with Matthew, OR send an email to matthewkeithlmt@gmail.com

4. How can I get the most out of my massage treatment?

Answer: It's all up to you! However, here are some suggestions that will enhance your experience:

  • Take 30 minutes to an hour prior to your massage to get quiet.  Meditate, stretch and listen to your body.

  • Take a hot epsom salt bath before or after your massage.

  • Gentle stretching or yin yoga after your massage.

  • Pre-make a nutritious meal prior to your massage so you can relax and re-hydrate afterwards.

  • Monitor your water intake for 24-48hrs post-massage to make sure you're staying hydrated and flushing all that waste out.  A gallon-a-day is the rule of thumb, always.  You can add fruit to your water such as lime, lemon, watermelon, cucumber, berries, etc. to add flavor & nutrients that are essential for your muscles to feel goooood.

  • Ask Matthew about stretches & yoga poses that could be good for you to do, and then do them, at least once per day until the problem resolves.

  • BREATHE throughout your massages & check your breath all day, everyday.  A lot of us have a tendency to hold our breath and that causes tension.

  • Ask questions! Bottom line, if you're unsure of something or would like to know more about something, just ask.
